About Us:
Surrey Christian Alliance Church is a growing congregation with a vision to expand and develop our English-speaking ministry.  We are seeking a dedicated English Pastor who will primarily focus on youth, young adults and new immigrant families, leading and inspiring this key demographic in their spiritual journey. The ideal candidate will help guide the growth of our English ministry, with a special emphasis on engaging and discipling youth and young adults in a vibrant, relevant, and impactful way.

Position Overview:
The English Pastor will oversee all aspects of the English ministry, including preaching, teaching, and worship leading, with a special emphasis on building and nurturing the youth and young adult ministry. This pastor will work to create an engaging environment that fosters spiritual growth, builds community, and helps people connect with God and each other.  The role will involve collaborating with church leadership to develop ministries that address the specific needs and challenges of youth, young adults, and new immigrant families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the English ministry, including preaching, teaching, and collaborating with the worship leader in a small church setting.

  • Develop and oversee youth and young adult ministries, creating programs that engage and disciple students from middle school through young adulthood.

  • Build meaningful relationships with youth, young adults and new immigrants, guiding them in their faith and spiritual development.

  • Oversee community-building events, retreats, and outreach programs.

  • Collaborate with church leadership to align the English ministry's vision with the broader mission of the church.

  • Provide pastoral care and counseling for youth, young adults, and new immigrant families.

Qualifications:

  • A deep love for Christ and a heart for diverse, multi-generational community of students, young adults, and new immigrant families.

  • A strong biblical foundation and commitment to preaching and teaching the Word of God.

  • Experience in youth ministry and/or young adult ministry, with a passion for engaging this demographic.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and relational skills.

  • Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and create a welcoming, supportive community.
